Feel and Think

My most memorable takeaway is learning the value of time. This was represented in the drawing of a boy looking into the sky and on it is the Eye of Agamotto. The reason is because the Eye can manipulate time but for me, learning how to divide my time and use it properly is what it really meant for me. This made me realize that time is precious and it should be valued everyday and every time so that you won't miss a thing or two on life.

One personal experience is when I am new to the FEU Theatre Guild. This gave me an opportunity to meet new people and to see how I interact with others. The theory that relates to this is the Social Penetration Theory because this made me interact with people who I still not know much.

In the future, the classroom experience/information that I can use when I become a professional media practitioner is how to deliver information accurately and explain it for others to understand so that me and my co-workers to work efficiently.

     After watching the video, I didn't feel anything. I'm not that good at discerning at what I should feel after watching the video. I watched it as if it is an obligation and even if I watched it on my own accord, I would still feel nothing. I do not even have a personal story that is relevent to the theme of the video.


     The signifier is the photograph and the signified is the memories. The reason why the signifier is the photograph and the signified is the memories because in the video, you can see that Ahmad is looking at the photo of his mother holding him when he was a child, this is the time where he is longing to see his mother again.


     The importance of semiotics in my life and as a future communication practicioner is that it can help me identify the meaning of different things in life. Even if the thing is small, it can hold a huge meaning. This could help me in ways to get a hold of a lead that can improve in my line of work in the future.
